The German government appointed Mir Murad Baloch as the honorary consul general Germany for Balochistan on Wednesday.

The German Ambassador to Pakistan, Alfred Grannas took to Twitter and announced the appointment of Murad Baloch as the Honorary Consul General for Balochistan.
“Mir Murad Baloch will be now our man in Balochistan”, the Ambassador said.

Murad Baloch is a known social activist and one of the active civil society members in Balochistan. Mr. Baloch is a businessman and also served as the Vice-President of the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

Murad Baloch belongs to the Panjgur district of Balochistan. He is the son of the former Chief Secretary of Balochistan, Abdul Hakeem Baloch.
