According to reports, rainfall is continued in different parts of Balochistan including the capital city of Quetta with low and heavy intensity for some days now. Rains have increased the severity of the cold, which would likely be increased in the coming days as the rains continue.

According to the Meteorological Department, 06 mm of rain was recorded in Khuzdar, 04 in Quetta, and 3 mm in Kalat, while heavy rains with quick winds were also recorded in Ziarat, Zhob, Khuzdar, Lasbela, BarKhan, Gwadar, Kech, Turbat, Awaran, and Panjgur.

The Meteorological Department expected the weather to be dry in most of the districts of Balochistan on Thursday and predicted the weather to be cold in the northern and central districts of Balochistan.

As per reports on Sunday the supply of gas in Balochistan was suspended to the local people, while the snowfall in prospect Zero of Ziarat and rain in the city have enormously increased the intensity of the cold in the region.

During the rains and freezing cold, the supply of gas has also been suspended in different areas of Balochistan, which is adding to the hardships of the citizens.
