A woman has died and several others have been injured in a road accident in Kech district of Balochistan.

According to details, a tragic road accident killed a woman, while injured ten people in Turbat central city of Kech on 26th March. The injured were moved to hospital, where emergency status was imposed and the families had to appeal the public for urgent blood donation.

According to sources, a pickup vehicle was on its way from Pasni to Shahrak overturned due to high speed, which caused the death of a woman and injured nine people including women, children, and the driver of the vehicle Nazeer s/o Bijaar.

The injured were brought to the Teaching Hospital Turbat for treatment, where they are being given medical aid, said the police.

The deaths in road accidents are common in Balochistan due to dilapidated roads and absence of regulations.
