Recovery of missing persons from Sindh is a victory of joint struggle; after Moro there will be a march in Larkana, VMPS leader said.

Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh, Sindh Sajagi Forum, Sindhi Adabi Sangat, Saga and Civil Society Moro organised ‘Missing Persons Freedom March’ from Moro Bypass to Press Club Moro on Saturday, for the recovery of forcibly disappeared persons from all over Sindh.

The march was led by the Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh leader Sorth Lohar, missing persons’ families and Moro’s civil society. According to reports, a large number of JSQM activists, Jeeye Sindh Front and other political and social organisations participated in the protest march.

Addressing the protest march, the leaders said, “It is satisfying that the safe recovery process of missing persons from all over Sindh is underway. It is a victory of the joint struggle of all political and social parties and conscious people of Sindh.”

They further stated,”we not only welcome this process but also strongly demand that all other political leaders and activists detained by state institutions without any trial for many years and months should also be released.

“If there is any case against any of them, they should be produced before the courts in a legal manner,” they demanded.

According to VMPS leader Sorth Lohar, they started the series of ‘Missing Persons Freedom March’ from Hyderabad two months ago. After Hyderabad, they marched in Karachi on October 4 and Today in Moro. This series of our peaceful freedom march does not end here; after Moro, we will hold a ‘Freedom March for the Missing Persons’ in Larkana and then announce a big long march to Karachi, Miss Lohar said. The struggle will continue till the last missing person is recovered, she added.
