Voice for missing persons of Sindh, Sindh Sujagi Forum and the families of Baloch missing persons participated in the protest.

According to details, a demonstration has been launched by Jiye Sindh Movement (Safdar Sarki) in Karachi the central city of Sindh, against enforced disappearances across the Sindh, including the disappearance of JST leaders, Sayed Masood Shah, Jabbar Sarki, Lala Imran Sindhi, Basheer Shah, Ghulam Rasool Shah, Shahid Advocate and Moheb Azad Laghari.

Mukhtiar Soomro the leader of Jiye Sindh Movement, Sorth Lohar the leader of Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh, Sarang Joyo the leader of Sindh Sujagi Forum, renowned Sindhi writer Taj Joyo, Sooriya Sindhi the leader of Jiye Sindh Movement, Baloch activist Hani Gull and others were leading the protest.

The families of Rashid Hussain, Naseem Baloch and other Baloch missing persons joined the protest.

Dr. Safdar Sarki, President of the Jiye Sindh Tehreek, said in an audio address that one year has passed since the enforced disappearance of Jiye Sindh Tehreek leader, Syed Masood Shah by Pakistani military agencies. Not not only Syed Masood Shah but Jabbar sarki and hundreds of Sindhi workers from all over Sindh have been forcibly disappeared, including innocent teenagers; Bashir Shar, Ghulam Rasool Shar and 8-year-old Syed Bachal Shah.

Dr. Safdar Sarki further said that the Sindh government is selling out the Sindh’s coastal strip and islands of Dangi and Bhandar to the “Punjabi occupier and the China.” The Sindhi nation will strongly resist against this deal, said Dr Sarki.

While addressing the protest, Mukhtar Soomro, Sorth Lohar, Taj Joyo, Mahganj Baloch, Hani Baloch, Mahzaib Baloch and others blamed Pakistani agencies for enforced disappearances of hundreds of activists; “against which our common and united ‘Missing Persons Freedom Movement’ will continue,” they said.

It should be noted that, Mahzaib Baloch, the niece of missing human rights activist Rashid Hussain fainted during the protest. on this occasion Rashid’s family members said that United Arab Emirates and Pakistan are still not providing any information regarding Rashid Hussain.

“Rashid Hussain’s life is in grave danger like other victims of enforced disappearances, and the silence of human rights organizations is encouraging the UAE and Pakistan,” the family said
