Enforced Disappearance cases have increased once again in Balochistan and Sindh.
According to details, five persons including three brothers were allegedly arrested and disappeared allegedly by the security forces, intelligence agencies and unidentified armed men from different districts of Balochistan and Sindh.

JSQM (Ariser) leader Sabir Chandio, once again has been arrested allegedly by Pakistani forces from Makhdoom Bilawal Village, Sachal, Karachi, last night and shifted to an unknown location.
No news of JSQM leader has been received since his arrest.
Sabir Chandio was forcibly disappeared from Kakkar Bypass Road near Dadu with his cousin Ibrahim Chandio on April 25, 2017, three years ago, when he was on his way to participate in the death anniversary event of a late Sindhi nationalist leader, GM Syed.
A month later, his cousin Ibrahim Chandio was released but Sabir Chandio remained missing for three consecutive years.
According to Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh (VMPS), Sabir Chandio was later produced in ATC Court Larkana in 2019. He has been facing ATC cases for the last two years, not a single case of which has been proved against him in the court and finally in the same year the court acquitted him of all charges.
According to the VMPS, Rangers and other Pakistani forces once again arrested him from Karachi’s Sachal area last night from a relative’s house and forcibly disappeared him.
Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh has strongly condemned the arrest and enforced disappearance of JSQM leader Sabir Chandio and announced a full scale protest for the recovery of all missing persons including Mr Chandio.

Three brothers were reported to have been arrested and disappeared by the security forces from Panjgur district of Balochistan, on Saturday,
According to details, last night the Pakistani army raided the house of Mullah Nasir, a Baloch militant killed during a gunfight_the army allegedly abducted his three brothers: Ali, Sarwar and Abdul Malik son of Sanjar and made them disappear from Parom Geshti area of Panjgur.
As per the family sources, the Pakistani army has raided the house of Mullah Nasir in the past and his brother Sarwar had been detained twice by the forces and later released, he was taken into custody once again last night.
Most of the Political and human rights organizations of the region claim that the humanitarian situation in Balochistan is worsened. Security forces during military operations are targeting civilians for being family members of political activists in the widespread policy of “Collective Punishment” and transferring them to military camps.
Whereas, another person was disappeared by unidentified armed men from Panjgur district of Balochistan on Saturday.
According to details, unidentified gunmen abducted a man at gunpoint near New Bazaar area of Panjgur.
According to family sources, unidentified assailants abducted Mudassar son of Kaleemullah near New Bazaar.
As per the reports, the kidnappers have not been identified and no case has been registered by the police.
It should be noted that enforced disappearances are a serious problem in Balochistan and other parts of Pakistan. There have been continuous protests against it but no reduction has been observed in number of abductions. Baloch nationalist parties, victim families and Sindh based human rights groups blame Pakistani army for the enforced disappearances and local ‘death squads’ which are allegedly formed by Pakistani intelligence services. The military denies the allegations.
