The two women, who are sisters, were abducted when they were on their way from Tejaban to Turbat in Kech.

According to details, two sisters Sameena Baloch and Zubaida Baloch, residents of Tejaban in Kech, were arrested today while they were on their way to Turbat.

Zubaida Baloch is mother of a missing person Mujahid Baloch, who was arrested and subsequently disappeared by Pakistani forces twenty days ago.

The sisters have not been heard of since they were taken in custody by Pakistani military.

Balochistan, where as per human rights groups, thousands are missing has seen several instances of women getting forcibly disappeared by security forces in last few years.

Last year four women were arrested from Awaran and were later also paraded by authorities as members of armed organisations. However, due to strong backlash from the public the women were released.

Baloch political organisations maintain that family members of Baloch activists are being targeted in order to subdue the activists.
