A para-military outpost was attacked in Sangaan area of Sibi district today in the morning

According to the details, a Frontier Corps(FC) outpost was attacked by unknown heavily armed assailants today in Sangaan town of Sibi district. As par TBP sources, the outpost was attacked with automatic weapons and rockets early in the morning and the exchange of fire continued for hours.
 
Official sources confirmed the attack and they said a back up was sent to the area. However, until last reports, the assailants had fled the scene.
 
Later, in a press release, Baloch Liberation Army(BLA) claimed the responsibility for the attack.
 
Jeeyand Baloch, a spokesperson for BLA, claimed that they had surrounded the outpost from three sides and killed four FC personnel in the attack, injured several others.
 
“We attacked several small and large outposts under Frontier Corps in Sangaan. The outpost was surrounded from three sides and heavily attacked”, said Jeeyand Baloch.
 
“Four personnel were killed on the spot and many others were injured”, he added.
 
Jeeyand Baloch also vowed to target all such men who work as informants for a meagre amount of money, especially in Sangaan, Jalarhi, Babar Kach, Shahrag, Kot Mandai, Sibi and Bolan areas.
 
“We never forgive national traitors, we have warned them before and if they continue to do so, we will set an example out of them”. Read the press release.
 
It was the third attack in Sibi district since last week, which were carried out on transmission towers and trains. Earlier attacks were also claimed by United Baloch Army(UBA) and Baloch Baloch Republican Guards”.
