According to TBP correspondent, Seven Baloch youngsters who were abducted on 21st July from a Ranger’s check-point, have reached to their homes after remaining missing for five months.

Boys who have reached to their homes have been identified as Majeed S/O Qadir Bakhsh, Aziz S/O Taj Muhammad, Jabir S/O Ilahi Bakhsh, Shoaib S/O Pir Muhammad, Sajid S/O Nazir, Qadeer S/O Moosa and Zahid S/O Karim Bakhsh, all hailing from Mand town of Kech district.

They were allegedly abducted by Pakistan’s Para-military forces when they were stopped at a Check-Point near Karachi city of Sindh Province.

It is pertinent to mention here that the enforced disappearances of Baloch students and activists are an old phenomenon in Pakistan, where it is used to silence dissent and it is continued for decades.
The term “Missing Persons” is widely used for the persons forcibly taken away allegedly by Pakistan Army and its Intelligence agencies.

International and National human rights organizations have blamed and criticized Pakistan army for such abductions in the past too, and in a recent statement by Human rights commission Pakistan, they have demanded the production Baloch Missing Persons.

It is a very rare event to witness Baloch Missing Persons being released, but according to Baloch politicians, the rate of abductions are much higher than the rate of abductees being released by the Forces.
