BSO, Baloch Students Organization, which recently changed its name back to BSO from BSO Pajjar has condemned ‘abduction’ of its Senior Joint Secretary at the hands of Pakistani forces.

According to the details received by The Balochistan Post, In a press conference on Saturday, BSO leaders jointly condemned the abduction-styled-arrest of its Senior Joint Secretary along with his father and brother from their house at Quetta.

“BSO is a non-violent student organization which believes in the democratic struggle for student rights and strives for a peaceful environment for students to study. The way our senior office holder was abducted, will send a negative message to all the students”, said BSO leader in the press conference.

Zareef Rind, leader of BSO, said that some forces do not want to see students using peaceful means of struggle for their rights and are pushing them to the extremes, by allowing an un-announced crackdown against students.

“We want government, rights organizations and higher authorities to play a role in the safe release of Jiand Baloch, his father Qayum Baloch and his younger brother Hasnain Baloch, who were picked up by security forces from their house on 30th of November in Quetta”, added BSO leader.

After the press conference, members of BSO staged a protest in front of Quetta Press Club along with the family of missing Jiand Baloch.
