The provincial Home Minister of Balochistan has claimed that ‘great success of establishing peace in Balochistan has been achieved’ through what he called civil-military strenuous efforts.

Talking to media, Saleem Ahmed Khosos said: “the whole nation is standing united with the Pakistan Army and we will never step back from sacrificing our lives for the glory of our motherland”.

Saleem Ahmed Khosos’s statement came on a day when Pakistani forces were targeted in two different areas of Balochistan. Several personnel were killed and injured in these attacks carried out on Tuesday.

The responsibility for the IED attack in Peerandar, Awaran was claimed by BLF, whereas, BRA claimed responsibility for the other attack carried out in Tump.

BLF claimed that 10 personnel of Pakistani military were killed in Awaran attack.

Attacks on Pakistani forces in Balochistan have spiked during last one year.

Last month BLA had captured multiple outposts of Pakistani security forces in Shahrag Bolan, less than 50 miles away from provincial capital Quetta.
