The main camp of Pakistani forces in Mach town has been attacked with long-range rockets early in the morning on Tuesday.

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, several rockets were fired at the security forces camp from nearby mountains around 2am on Tuesday.

‘Several explosions rocked the town, waking up the whole Mach city,’ a local told TBP.

Multiple rockets also landed in the nearby notorious Mach prison.

The recent attack follows two days of violence in Mach and its vicinity. Earlier, attacks were carried out on an oil and gas exploration company in Aab-e-gum near Mach, whereas, a military vehicle was also targeted with a remote-controlled IED on Monday in the area.

Baloch Liberation Army’s spokesman Jeehand Baloch had claimed responsibility for the earlier attacks. However, the responsibility for the recent rocket attack has not been taken by any group yet.
