Pakistani forces have arrested several including women and children after raiding different areas in Shahrag near Harnai.

According to details, Pakistani forces raided houses belonging to Yar Jan Marri and relatives late last night. They arrested 18 including at least 7 women in the raid. The arrested Baloch men, women and children were taken to undisclosed locations.

Raids were also carried out at Mouzo Marri’s house and his wife and three young children were taken away by the personnel of Pakistani forces.

The raids and arrests follow fatal attack on Pakistani forces, which killed at least 8 personnel. Sources talking to TBP confirmed that targeting women and children after such attack have become a common norm now.

Scores including women and children have been “abducted” in past from Bolan, Margat, Pir Ismail and Harnai. “Many of the abducted are torture murdered and their bodies are dumped to spread terror in the area,” a source talking to TBP revealed.

A social media campaign last year also raised the same issue.
