Three people have reportedly been forcibly disappeared from different areas of Balochistan, while one previously disappeared man has been released.
According to reports, Noorudin Karim, son of Karim Bakhsh, was allegedly taken into custody from Masjid Road in Quetta at around 2am on 14 April 2026 by personnel of Military Intelligence and the Counter Terrorism Department.
Noorudin is a resident of Syedabad Keelkaur in Kech district and a DVM student at the Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences in Uthal. His whereabouts remain unknown.
In another case, Imran, son of Mohammad Bakhsh, a 32-year-old labourer from Noorgama Zehri in Khuzdar district, was reportedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from his area at around 2pm on 5 October 2025.
A third man, Mir Chakar Marri, son of Elahi Bakhsh, was allegedly taken into custody by CTD personnel from Harnai Main Bazaar at around 11pm on 14 May 2026.
Mir Chakar Marri is a 23-year-old resident of Jalalabad in Harnai district and works as a tailor. His whereabouts also remain unknown.
Meanwhile, Kambir Khan, son of Ali Mohammad, a resident of Zehri in Khuzdar district, has been released. He had reportedly been forcibly disappeared on 16 May 2026 and reached his home from Islamabad on 19 May.
The latest reports come amid continuing allegations of enforced disappearances across Balochistan, where families and rights groups have repeatedly accused Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies of detaining people without producing them before courts.
Pakistani authorities had not issued a statement on the latest allegations at the time of publication.
