Reports of enforced disappearances continue to emerge, with three new cases involving Baloch youth allegedly taken by Pakistani security forces.
In Islamabad, a Baloch student has reportedly gone missing after being detained by individuals in plain clothes, believed to be affiliated with Pakistani intelligence agencies. The missing student has been identified as Saeed, son of Ubaidullah, a resident of Panjgur district in Balochistan. He was a fifth-semester student of Defence and Strategic Studies (DSS) at Quaid-e-Azam University. According to reports, he was detained at the Islamabad Toll Plaza.
The Baloch Students Council in Islamabad has confirmed the incident, stating that Saeed’s disappearance is part of a disturbing trend of Baloch students being targeted in the federal capital. The council has urged fellow students, human rights defenders, organisations, and concerned citizens to raise their voices for Saeed’s immediate and safe return.
In a separate incident, a minor student named Ajman, son of Ameenullah, was reportedly taken into custody by Pakistani forces around 9 PM from Gwadar. He has not been seen since.
Additionally, in the Panwan area of Jewani tehsil, Gwadar, another individual named Sameer, son of Abdul Karim, was reportedly detained earlier this week and remains missing.
Family members of the missing individuals have called for their immediate and safe recovery.
