A 25-year-old man has committed suicide by shooting himself in the Usta Muhammad district of Balochistan.
According to reports, Babu s/o Shahzad Jamali and a resident of Hussainabad Mohalla, attempted suicide by shooting himself with a pistol within the jurisdiction of the local police station in Usta Muhammad.
Local sources told The Balochistan Post correspondent that Babu was found injured but succumbed to his injuries while being transported to Larkana in Sindh for medical treatment. The cause of the suicide remains unknown.
It is important to note that incidents of suicide in Balochistan are on the rise. Several organizations working in the region attribute these incidents to factors such as unemployment, uncertain futures, and alleged pressure and harassment by Pakistani forces.
