At least eleven Pakistani troops were reportedly injured in a suicide bombing on a convoy of Pakistani military forces in Bannu area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan on Sunday.

According to initial reports, more than eleven personnel were injured in a suicide blast on the convoy of Pakistani forces in Bannu. As soon as the incident was reported, the forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area and launched a military operation in the area.

The incident took place in Bannu, located on the Kurram River in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The condition of at least three injured personnel was described as “critical.”

In a media issued statement, The anti-government Hafiz Gul Bahadur group claimed responsibility for the attack. However, the army’s media wing did not immediately commented on the incident.
