A young individual has reportedly taken his own life by hanging himself in Balochistan’s Gwadar district on Thursday.

As per reports, a youth identified as Malik, son of Abdul Ghafoor, ended his life by hanging himself by a tree in the Jiwani tehsil of Gwadar.

The body of the deceased was transferred to the hospital and subsequently handed over to his family members. However, the exact cause behind this incident of suicide is yet to be ascertained.

According to the Baloch National Movement’s human rights department, Paank, a total of 56 suicides have been reported in the current year alone.
