Two people were killed and seven others injured in an explosion near a football ground in Isa-Kahen Zangi area of Panjgur district.
According to details, a bomb blast on Saturday in Panjgur resulted in killing two and injuring at least seven more people. Two vehicles were also destroyed in the blast.
The two deceased have been identified as, Hassan Jan s/o Hussain and Rahim Jan s/o Dil jan
The injured have been identified as, Ali Bakhsh son of Muhammad Yusuf, Asad son of Muhammad Bilal, Jalal son of Kabir Ahmed, Mehmood son of Abdul Wahid, Murad s/o Daad Mohammed, Zahid s/o Mohammed Jan and Samir s/o Mohammed Aziz, have been identified while details regarding other injured and killed persons are yet to be known.
The incident is being further investigated. Meanwhile, the security forces have cordoned off the area.
Meanwhile in Bolan area of Balochistan, on Saturday, unidentified gunmen have reportedly attacked and subsequently seized a Check-post of Pakistani military.
According to sources, armed men attacked the post at Jhalawan-Thank area of Shahrag in Bolan, killing and injuring several security personnel.
Authorities have not yet released any details regarding the attack.
The latter attack was claimed by a “pro-independence” armed group, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). Jeeyand Baloch, the spokesperson for the BLA said in a press release that BLA fighters attacked the Pakistan army checkpost in Bolan on Saturday evening.
Jeeyand Baloch claimed killing of 11 Pakistan army personnel in the attack and injuring several others. “BLA fighters destroyed the military camp and confiscated a large cache of weapons in the attack,” Baloch said.
BLA’s official media wing ‘Hakkal’ has released a photo of today’s attack. The photo shows dead body of an army personnel dragged by armed men.
