The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released a video showing an attack it claims to have carried out last month on a Pakistani military camp in the Zamuran area of Kech district.

According to the group, its fighters launched a coordinated attack on 29 March from multiple directions targeting the camp. The video, published on the group’s media channel Hakkal, appears to show preparations for the operation, including a commander explaining the plan using a model and directing fighters to advance from different positions.

The footage also appears to show the use of drones to monitor and record activity at what is described as a Frontier Corps (FC) camp during the attack.

The BLA has referred to the operation as the “Battle of Zamuran”. In a statement, the group claimed that five Pakistani security personnel were killed and that the camp was destroyed.

The group also stated that one of its fighters, identified as Abdost Aziz, also known as “Almaan”, was killed during the operation.

In earlier statements, the BLA had announced the establishment of a unit referred to as “Qaher” (Qazi Aero Hive Rangers), described as part of what it calls the second phase of its campaign, “Operation Herof”. According to the group’s spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, the unit is intended to use drone technology to target remote and sensitive locations.
