Ten youths who went missing from a picnic spot in Noshki are still missing two years later.
According to reports, 10 missing youths could not be recovered in two years after being arrested allegedly by Pakistani forces from Zangi Nawar, a picnic spot in Noshki district of Balochistan.
Two years ago, on August 31, 2018, Pakistani forces arrested 10 people from a picnic point are known as, Mir Ahmed Sami son of Rehmatullah, Abdul Rab son of Haji Abdul Majeed, Bilal Ahmed son of Mir Ahmed Baloch, Abdul Rashid son of Abdul Razzaq and Muhammad Asif son of Muhammad, Including 5 others.
It may be recalled that the arrest of the two of the ten persons was reported again two days later from Hazar Ganji area of Quetta by various Pakistani TV channels but no information was received about them later.
On the same day, a young Nizam son of Pir Muhammad Sasoli was reportedly shot dead by the security forces.
The relatives of the aforementioned abductees have been protesting at different times in front of Quetta Press Club for the recovery of their loved ones in the camp of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP).
Recently, Bilal Ahmed’s family told in a press conference in Quetta that after his arrest, Bilal Ahmed was not handed over to the police and no FIR was lodged against him, nor was he produced in any court of law. While the forces had confirmed his arrest, the news of which was also published in the Daily Jung and pictures of other detainees including Bilal Ahmed in the custody of the forces also came to light but later no reference was made to them.
The press conference said that after making the arrest, he was not transferred to jail or produced in any court as per law.
On the other hand, Sami Baloch was a social and political activist, which is why people from different walks of life are expressing concerns over his enforced disappearance.
In the last two years, Sami Baloch’s father had died along with his youngest daughter. According to his family, Sami Baloch’s family members are in deep distress due to his enforced disappearance.
According to the VBMP, the data of the said persons has been collected and provided to national and international organizations.

Mama Qadeer Baloch, the vice chairman of the organization said that Voice for Baloch Missing Persons will organize a seminar to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Forced Disappearances.
He said that the seminar would be held on Wednesday, 2 September at 4 pm at Quetta Press Club. “Therefore, all political parties, lawyers, student organizations, human rights organizations and people from all walks of life are urged to participate in the program and become the voice of the missing and play a key role in making the program a success,” he added
