According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, an unknown motorcyclist attacked two women, a mother and a daughter, with acid on Friday night in Quetta . As a result of the attack, both the women sustained severe burns.

Farzana and her daughter, Kiran, were attacked near Railway society where they used to teach children of government officers. The culprit was waiting for the women when they were returning home.

Both the women were rushed to Bolan Medical Hospital where they were provided initial treatment. Hospital sources told us that the women had sustained burn injuries on their face and hands.

According to the Police, the assailant fled the scene after the attack, and the motives behind the attack are unclear.
