A police officer was killed in a grenade and gun attack on his home in Khudabadan, Panjgur, while a resident of the same area was killed in an armed attack in Basima, Washuk, according to local and police sources.
According to police, unidentified armed men attacked the residence of police officer Peer Jan, son of Muhammad Ibrahim, with a hand grenade and automatic weapons. He was killed at the scene.
Police later reached the site and began collecting evidence, while a search for the attackers was launched.
Separately, Haji Samiullah, a resident of Khudabadan, was reportedly killed when armed men opened fire on him in Basima.
