Armed individuals reportedly set a rest house on fire and carried out a raid on a gas plant in Chagai district, according to local authorities and sources.
The first incident took place late on Tuesday night in Chahter Bazaar, located approximately 51 kilometres east of Dalbandin. According to police, masked armed individuals entered a rest house, sprayed petrol inside the building and set it ablaze.
Police said the fire broke out at around 3:30am and caused significant damage to the structure. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
In a separate development, armed individuals reportedly raided the Chahter Gas Plant. Sources said a private security guard was detained during the raid and his weapon was confiscated.
The security guard was later released, according to reports.
No group has claimed responsibility for either incident, and authorities also have not provided further details.
