Reports of alleged enforced disappearances involving at least ten individuals have emerged from different areas of Balochistan following raids and operations reportedly carried out by Pakistani forces in Nushki, Khuzdar and Surab districts.
According to local sources, Pakistani armed forces conducted a large-scale search operation in Mal, Killi Mengal in Nushki on Monday morning.
Residents said approximately 20 military vehicles surrounded the area before personnel carried out house-to-house searches. During the operation, seven individuals were reportedly detained and later transferred to undisclosed locations.
The individuals were identified as Shah Khalid, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Niaz, Noor Mohammad, Mohammad Arif, Alauddin and Abdul Basit.
Meanwhile, in Khuzdar’s Doctor Colony area, a 25-year-old shopkeeper identified as Saifur Rehman son of Mohammad Yaqoob was reportedly detained during the night of 25 May 2026.
Family members alleged that personnel belonging to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Military Intelligence (MI) took him into custody at approximately 2 a.m. before transferring him to an unknown location.
In a separate incident in Hajika, an area of Surab, relatives stated that Frontier Corps (FC) personnel raided a house at around 6:30 a.m. on 1 June and detained two men identified as Ubaidullah son of Mohammad Yaqoob, 23, and Khuda Bakhsh son of Saleh Mohammad, 54.
According to the family, both men, who work as farmers, were taken to an undisclosed location and no information regarding their whereabouts has since been provided.
Separately, reports were also received of helicopter shelling in the Moola area of Khuzdar district.
Local residents alleged that Pakistani military helicopters shelled areas near Moola Chottok, including locations where people had reportedly gathered for picnics. Further details regarding casualties or damage were not immediately available.
Pakistani authorities had not publicly commented on the allegations at the time of publication.
