Mobile phone internet services were suspended once again in Quetta and several other areas of Balochistan on Tuesday, causing difficulties for residents who rely on mobile data for work, communication, and studies.
According to reports, disruptions in mobile internet began in Quetta on Tuesday morning. Government officials confirmed the suspension, stating that the decision was taken due to “security concerns.” They did not specify how long the restrictions would remain in place.
This is not the first time mobile services have been halted in Balochistan. Earlier, mobile networks across Balochistan were suspended under similar security-related directives.
Extended shutdowns of mobile internet services have repeatedly affected students, online businesses, and daily communication, with residents expressing frustration over the prolonged and frequent disruptions.
