Balochistan has witnessed a series of attacks targeting construction projects, security installations, and government assets in different areas, with unidentified individuals setting vehicles and surveillance equipment ablaze.

In Awaran, armed men attacked a road construction company at Kineera Kundag, torching vehicles. A separate incident in Dukki’s Luni tehsil saw assailants setting fire to a construction roller stationed outside a house. According to Levies sources, the affected company was engaged in the construction of the Dukki-Chamalang road. The roller, positioned away from the main camp site, was completely destroyed in the attack.

Meanwhile, in Hub’s Bhawani area, an altercation during a customs raid on a diesel-smuggling vehicle led to the vehicle being set on fire by enraged individuals, reducing it to ashes.

In another incident, unidentified individuals destroyed surveillance cameras installed by Pakistani forces at three locations in Sami, Kech district. The attackers targeted cameras mounted on towers in the Gishkor area, along with other connected electronic equipment. Pakistani forces have deployed surveillance cameras across Balochistan, including in mountainous and urban areas, equipped with motion detection and night vision capabilities.

Baloch “pro-independence” group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for destroying the security cameras in Kech.
