A Baloch man has been allegedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani intelligence agencies inside the International Airport in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan.

According to reports, Pakistani intelligence agencies have allegedly forcibly disappeared Fareed, son of Muhammad Azam, a resident of Nushki, Balochistan. He had just returned from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after working there for years.

According to eyewitnesses, Fareed was taken by plainclothes officers immediately after clearing immigration and customs. His family, who had been waiting outside to receive him, grew worried when he failed to emerge from the airport. After hours of searching, they were unofficially informed that he had been taken by intelligence personnel.

His sudden disappearance has sparked fear and outrage among his relatives and the wider Baloch community, who have long accused the Pakistani security establishment of carrying out enforced disappearances targeting Baloch activists, intellectuals, and ordinary citizens. Human rights organizations have repeatedly urged authorities to end these abductions, which violate both national and international laws.

Fareed’s family is desperately seeking information about his whereabouts and well-being. They have appealed to human rights organizations, the media, and political leaders to intervene and ensure his safe release.
