The Baloch National Movement, (BNM) in a statement, said that the party organized a protest and rally at Amsterdam’s Dam Square in the Netherlands on the occasion of the International Day of the Disappeared. A large number of BNM members participated in the protest. The demonstrators held pictures and placards of the victims of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, with slogans condemning human rights violations.

Among the protestors, Abdul Wahid, Maheem Abdul Rahim, Shari Waleed, Alia Bakhshi Baloch, Islam Murad Baloch, Basit Zaheer Baloch, Abdul Waheed, Zahra Baloch, and Dr. Latif Baloch said that thousands of people have been forcibly disappeared in Balochistan by the Pakistani military and intelligence agencies. These include political workers, students, doctors, lawyers, and ordinary citizens, while thousands of mutilated bodies have been recovered.

They stated that the Pakistani military does not provide any solid reasons for the enforced disappearances in Balochistan, and many of the disappeared never return, or their bodies are found bearing signs of torture. The military’s atrocities have been ongoing for a long time, creating a severe human rights issue. The local populations in the region are facing state oppression, economic exploitation, and injustice, while the international community remains completely silent on these atrocities.

They added that military aggression, extrajudicial killings, and inhumane treatment of ordinary citizens have become routine in Balochistan. Various organizations have repeatedly demanded investigations into these incidents and actions against those responsible, but no significant steps have been taken so far.

In conclusion, BNM members urged the international community and human rights organizations to raise their voices against the enforced disappearances and Pakistani atrocities in Balochistan and impose sanctions against those responsible.
