Three individuals have reportedly gone missing from the Khuzdar and Kharan districts of Balochistan.
According to reports, Pakistani forces have allegedly forcibly detained two individuals following their arrest in the Khuzdar district. The detainees have been identified as Sarwar, son of Muhammad Jumma Rodeni, and Sher Jan, son of Azeem.
Similarly, on January 6th, Pakistani forces reportedly summoned a man to the Frontier Corps (FC) camp in Kharan, where he was taken into custody and subsequently disappeared.
The detained man has been identified as Asadullah, son of Nazar Muhammad, an employee of the municipality committee in Kharan.
Family sources indicate that since Asadullah’s detention, no information has been obtained about his whereabouts, causing severe distress to his family.
It is noteworthy that since the begining of this month, at least thirteen cases of enforced disappearances have been documented from various regions of Balochistan. Furthermore, five people were reportedly killed in a fake encounter, with four of them identified as individuals previously subjected to enforced disappearance.
