The Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC) has criticized the stalled construction of the Girls Inter College in Ormara, Balochistan. In a recent statement, the committee described the delay as a failure of the local administration and a violation of student rights.

One of the major obstacles cited is a land dispute. The land designated for the college is reportedly claimed by another party, leading to a halt in construction. The spokesperson criticized the government for not resolving the land dispute prior to commencing construction.

The spokesperson highlighted the low education ratio among girls in Ormara. The absence of a higher education institution for girls, they argued, limits their educational prospects post-matriculation.

The BSAC feared mismanagement of the allocated funds if construction does not resume. They urged the government and district administration to address the situation promptly. The spokesperson warned that the BSAC would consider protesting if the issue remains unresolved.

The delay in completing the Girls Inter College in Ormara is not just a local issue, the BSAC suggested, but also indicative of wider problems in managing educational infrastructure in Balochistan.
