At least four Baloch students have been forcibly disappeared allegedly by Pakistani secretive agencies from Dera Gazi Khan.

According to reports, The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), along with the Punjab Police, allegedly forcibly disappeared four Baloch students of Ghazi University from the hostel in Model Town around 2 AM and shifted them to an undisclosed location.

The missing student has been identified as Sakim Baloch, a resident of Awaran, Amir Baloch, a resident of Turbat, Salman Baloch, a resident of Panjgur and Zubair Baloch, a resident of Kalat.

Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC) Secretary General Azhar Baloch confirmed the incident and said that the CTD along with Punjab Police raided various students’ hostel in DG Khan overnight.

The incidents coincide with the ongoing Long March in Balochistan, a major movement calling for action against “enforced disappearances” and “extrajudicial killings”. After reaching Kohlu recently this night, the march will advance towards Dera Ghazi Khan and has garnered considerable public support, highlighting growing human rights concerns in the region.
