A young civil engineer from Quetta, Hazrat Umar Nasir, has reportedly gone missing in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. Employed with the city’s Capital Development Authority (CDA), Nasir was last known to be traveling from his workplace in CDA Islamabad towards Faizabad.

His family, increasingly alarmed, has had no contact with him since August 23. Ajab Khan Nasir, Hazrat’s brother, confirmed to the media.

This is not the first time concerns over the safety of individuals from Balochistan in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have arisen. In the past, allegations have surfaced regarding the forced disappearance of students from Balochistan in these cities, often drawing criticism from human rights groups.

Similarly, Another man was also reportedly detained and subsequently moved to an undisclosed location by the Pakistan armed forces in Balochistan’s coastal city of Gwadar on Thursday.

Nek Bakht

Local sources told The Balochistan Post that Nek Bakht son of Fida Ahmed, a resident of Nodz Turbat, went missing after being detained by a large number of Pakistani forces from an oil shop in Shambey Ismail Ward.
