Three people were killed and two others were injured in four separate firing incidents in parts of Balochistan on Monday.
According to reports, a man named Saddiqullah was killed on the spot while his brother Israr Ahmed was seriously injured in firing between two groups over a land dispute in the Killi Sahib Khan area of Pashin (Pashtuns-dominated) area of Balochistan.
In another separate firing incident, a senior teacher named Manzoor Ahmad was killed when unidentified motorcycle-borne gunmen opened fire in Gajjar area of Mashkey.
The body was shifted to the hospital and was handed over to his heirs. However, the motive behind the targeted killing remains unknown.
Meanwhile, another young man was shot and injured by robbers in Hub Chowki city of Balochistan.
The youth named Shoaib Rind, a resident of Hub Chowki was injured when robbers opened fire on him during the robbery near Sakran police station on Monday evening.
The youth was shot for resisting the robbers, he was injured and rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The youth’s family members blocked the Quetta-Karachi National Highway in protest near the Bhawani area and closed it for traffic.
Whereas, a shopkeeper was injured in a firing incident in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
According to reports, unidentified persons opened fire and injured the shopkeeper. The incident took place in Wadh tehsil of Khuzdar district.
Locals staged a protest and blocked the Quetta-Karachi National Highway for all kinds of traffic. They said that the situation in Wadh is getting worse day by day and traders are being targeted on a daily basis.
