The Balochistan Assembly has passed a resolution to revoke the passports of teachers who go to foreign countries to study, alleging that they do not return to Pakistan and hide in the host countries. The move came after reports revealed that at least 12 teachers who were sent on scholarships to study abroad are in hiding and have not returned to their homeland.

As a result, the Balochistan Assembly has decided to revoke their passports and is in contact with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to recover the money spent on their scholarships. The education department claims that the Balochistan government had sponsored scholarships for 30 teachers to study in foreign countries. However, twelve of them did not return after completing their education and went into hiding in the host countries.

According to Balochistan government spokespeople, the government spent millions of rupees on the fleeing teachers. In response, the government is now taking steps to recover all the money spent on their scholarships from the teachers. The FIA is currently working with the Balochistan Assembly to investigate the matter and take necessary actions.

Balochistan Assembly Public Accounts Committee Chairman, Akthar Langove, has instructed the government to recover all the money from the teachers who did not return after completing their education abroad.
