Local authorities have issued a high tide warning for fishermen along Balochistan’s coastline due to expected strong winds. The Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre (JMICC) anticipates that the high tides may impact the coastal areas this week.
The Balochistan Fisheries Department has called on fishermen to exercise caution, particularly in the waters around Gwadar. Assistant Directors of Fisheries for Pasni and Ormara have also issued necessary instructions.
In light of the alert, the JMICC has advised fishermen to refrain from venturing far out to sea and to ensure their boats, engines, nets, and other fishing equipment are adequately secured. Taking timely precautionary measures is recommended to prevent any potential losses or difficulties.
