The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for two separate attacks on Pakistani military forces in Balochistan’s Kalat and Noshki regions, resulting in one death and four injuries. According to BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the attacks were carried out to fight against the occupation of Balochistan.

Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement that the first attack was carried out on Sunday night, where BLA fighters targeted a military outpost in Keshangi area of Noshki with heavy weapons. The forces’ post suffered severe damage, and one personnel was killed while three others were injured, he claimed.

He said that in the second attack, the BLA targeted the security posts of Pakistani military’s main camp in Mangochar, Kalat, with a hand grenade. One enemy personnel was injured in the attack.

The BLA has been fighting for the independence of Balochistan. The group reiterated its commitment, saying that it will continue to target the occupying forces until the liberation of Balochistan.

The Pakistani authorities have not yet commented on the attacks.
