Pakistani forces allegedly detained a young footballer from the Kharan district of Balochistan on Friday night.

According to reports, the Pakistani security forces forcibly disappeared the youth from the Shillong area of Kharan city last night.

The missing footballer has been identified as Sagheer Ahmed alias Chote.

It should be recalled that the cases of enforced disappearances of youths have been continuously increasing in Kharan for some time now.

Earlier, a man who went missing from the Khash area of Kharan this month succumbed to his injuries after being found in a critical condition. His name was Salahuddin, son of Zafar Ali, and he was taken away by FC and CTD personnel — later he was found unconscious near Kharan town.

Salahuddin succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to the hospital in a critical condition.
