According to the monthly report of the Human Rights Department of Baloch National Movement ‘Paank’, Pakistani forces subjected 36 people to enforced disappearances in November while 23 Baloch people were killed in various forces’ operations.

The report reads: In the last decade of the previous month, the Kohlu region was attacked by drones and gunship helicopters in which eight freedom fighters were martyred. In contrast, in the same month, 11 more freedom fighters were martyred by the shelling of drones and helicopters in Kolwah. At the same time, the civilians were also affected by life and financial loss.

According to the report of November, it was also marked by military operations, enforced disappearances and state atrocities in Balochistan. The previous month, Pakistan Army, FC and the so-called CTD force forcibly detained 36 people including Baloch refugees in Sindh (Jacobabad). This month or earlier, 14 victims of enforced disappearance were released after being subjected to extreme psychological and physical suffering.

According to the report, the Pakistani army is taking forced labor from the IDPs returning to their’s area in Koharo a village of Jhahu tehsil of Awaran district to build helipads and military camps. The video evidence of this was obtained by Paank and published on social media.

The report states that many Baloch people have migrated to Iran and Afghanistan, fed up with military aggression, where they live in the worst conditions.

According to Paank, Pakistan Army uses human shields in Balochistan to achieve its objectives. In November, Chakar Majeed was forced by the military authorities to spy for the army, on which he got fed up and committed suicide, while before this many people had also committed suicide due to the oppression of the Pakistan army.
