Sardar Ashraf Khan Kakar, a local leader of the Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) was killed in an armed attack on Monday. 

According to reports, armed men shot Mr. Kakar in the Killi Kudezai area of Loralai. After the attack, he was transferred to the district headquarters hospital in Loralai, where he succumbed to his injuries. The attackers escaped unhurt, Police said.

Police and levies forces reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident. The reason behind the incident could not be ascertained immediately.

Meanwhile, a large number of PKMAP members gathered outside the hospital. the party leaders condemned the killing and demanded the immediate arrest of the assailants.
