Amnesty International Iran chapter has condemned the killing of a 6-7 years old Baloch girl Hasti Naroei in Western Balochistan.

According to reports, Amnesty said that a 7-year-old girl belonging to the Baloch minority of Iran was killed by Iranian forces in Zahedan.

As per Amnesty, she is one of at least 43 children who have been killed by Iranian forces since September this year. Earlier in October, another report by Amnesty International stated, “ten of the recorded child victims belonged to Iran’s oppressed Baluchi minority and were killed by security forces on the deadliest day of the crackdown, 30 September, in Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchistan province. Evidence gathered by Amnesty International shows at least seven of the children killed in Zahedan were shot in the heart, head or other vital organs.”

“Protests in Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchistan province, populated by the long-oppressed Baluchi ethnic minority, were scheduled to take place after Friday prayers on 30 September as a show of solidarity with nationwide protests and to demand accountability for the reported rape of a 15-year-old girl by a police commander in the province,” Amnesty report said

According to Amnesty, “at least 82 Baloch protesters were killed in a bloody crackdown after Friday prayers on 30 September in Zahedan” city of Western Balochistan.
