A young man was killed by police firing during rations distribution on Thursday in Jafarabad area of Balochistan.
According to reports, young man came to collect rations near Jafarabad Police Station Cattle Farm, when police personnel opened fire. The incident took place during the process of ration distribution to flood victims.
As per local reports, without any reason the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police allegedly opened fire at young man. The injured youth was being taken to the hospital when he succumbed to his injuries.
The residents of the area are protesting against the incident and are demanding the arrest of the SHO.
However, the government officials have not yet commented on the incident.
