Two labourers lost their lives in a firing incident in Balochistan’s Kech district on Monday morning. 

According to Levies sources, unidentified armed men opened fire on labourers working on the construction of a road in the Hoshap area of Kech district.

The firing left two labourers dead on the spot while the attackers fled the scene. Law enforcement agencies including Frontier Corps (FC) personnel reached the spot and started an investigation into the attack.

The dead bodies of the victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for postmortem. Security of the construction company was tightened in the aftermath of the killing of labourers.

Today’s incident has come two days after the armed men attacked a construction company’s camp in Harani district of Balochistan.  Two labourers were reportedly injured in the firing incident.

No group has claimed responsibility for the aforementioned attacks yet.
