BNM on Wednesday held a protest demonstration in London outside the British Prime Minister’s residence against the abduction of Baloch Women.

According to the Baloch National Movement (BNM), the purpose of the demonstration was to record a protest against the illegal arrest of Noorjan Baloch by Pakistani forces in Hoshaap, who was later produced in a court and charged with fake and baseless FIRs and again the forcible disappearances of Baloch students and their racial profiling in different universities of Punjab, BNM said.

According to reports, a large number of BNM workers participated in the demonstration. Protesters were holding placards about the ongoing human rights violations by Pakistan state in Balochistan. The protesters were addressed by the BNM’s Central Junior Joint Secretary, Hassan Dost Baloch and Members of Central Committee, Niaz Baloch, Mehnaz Baloch and Master Manzoor Baloch.

While addressing the participants, the speakers strongly condemned the extrajudicial arrest of Noorjan Baloch in Hoshaap Balochistan and said that today in Balochistan, the state of Pakistan is violating all the laws of war. The speakers said that the state of Pakistan has been arresting and disappearing women in Balochistan for a long time. Today, Baloch women are being tortured along with men in Pakistani torture cells and recently Pakistan has intensified this practice.

“Today the enemy is humiliating Baloch women by justifying it as retaliation after the actions of Banuk Shari Baloch and trying its best to threaten all Baloch men and women. From Zarina Marri to the hundreds of Baloch women who were abducted and forcibly disappeared, were they also abducted in a reaction to any action? the answer is no. It’s a state policy to terrorise the Baloch masses”, speakers quoted

They further stated “this proves that Pakistan is facing defeat on all fronts. They stooped so low to such immoral tactics to cover up their defeat and blackmail the Baloch Sarmchars [fighter] so that the Baloch nation step back from their national liberation movement. But the Baloch have decided that they will overcome all the state atrocities and free themselves from the chains of slavery,” BNM leaders said.

The speakers urged the United Nations, EU, International human rights bodies and the international community to take urgent actions against Pakistani “atrocities” and intervene in Balochistan.
