Twenty people from different parts of Balochistan have gone missing after being abducted allegedly by Pakistani military forces. 

According to reports, Pakistani forces detained 15 persons from Gomazi, Kech district of Balochistan and shifted them to an unknown location. Four out of the 15 missing individuals have been identified as Noman son of Akthar, Seth Umar, Waleed s/o Seth Umar and Dadu s/o Suleiman, The other 11 missing persons are yet to be identified.

According to sources, Pakistani forces allegedly abducted five more people from different parts of Balochistan.

Pakistani security forces abducted three men from the Karki area of Panjgur district: Iqbal, Omar, and Fazal, sources said. As per the sources, On the same day, security forces abducted a school teacher from Awaran and shifted him to an unknown location. The person who was forcibly disappeared from Awaran by the forces has been identified as Jamal Baloch, a resident of Awaran Gandachai.

Meanwhile, Pakistani forces reportedly abducted another person named Gulzar Ahmed in front of his father from Khuzdar area of Balochistan on Sunday.

Dozens of people have reportedly gone missing from Balochistan this year.  At least 50 people went missing only in February, including a large number of students and teachers.

Meanwhile, a protest camp by missing persons’ families goes on continuously for more than a decade, in front of Quetta Press Club against enforced disappearances.
