Prominent Baloch activists in the United Kingdom made their debut in a short film. The film, titled ‘Bloody Words’, has garnered thousands of views on YouTube.

Hakeem Baloch, President of Baloch National Movement UK zone, has directed the film and stars in the supporting role. Ehsan Baloch, a student and an activist in UK, stars in the lead role as Balach – an exiled journalist who is mentally distressed by the killing of a fellow journalist in Sweden.

Bloody Words is the story of journalists who were either abducted or killed by the Pakistani intelligence agencies. It attempts to portray how hard it is for journalists to report factually and expose the injustices taking place in Balochistan, allegedly on the behest of the Pakistani state.

Bloody Words is the story of the journalists who give voice to the plight of the downtrodden, but then end up being the victims themselves. It shows how repressive regimes can employ their proxies abroad to silence critics and pursuers of justice.
