The protest camp of Baloch students in front of the Bahauddin Zakariya University continues for 30th day against the abolition of scholarships of Balochistan and former FATA students.

Students claim that University administration has abolished the scholarships of Balochistan and former FATA, only on discrimination basis.

Various student organizations’ representatives have visited the protest camp during last 30 days to express solidarity.

On this occasion, the student leaders said that our protest will continue till the demands are met. They said that despite the assurance of the Chief Minister of Balochistan yesterday, our demands are still in pending.

The student leaders said that the worse situation of educational institutions in Balochistan is before us and all and these few scholarships which were helpful, these are also taken away from us, which is another tactic to close the doors of education for Baloch students.

“Our protest will continue until the demands are approved,” they added.

Baloch students urged the Balochistan government to play its role as soon as possible.
