The German police arrested an asylum-seeking Baloch political activist in Berlin.

According to the details, Muhammad Saeed, the arrestee, had fled Pakistan and applied for political asylum in Germany. Other Baloch activists residing in Germany strongly condemned this incident, saying that Saeed faces life threats from the Pakistani government, which is why he escaped Pakistan and sought asylum in Germany.

Muhammad Saeed reportedly participated in the rallies, demonstrations and protests against the human rights violations of the Pakistani state in Balochistan.

In May 2016, two Baloch youth, Qaboos Baloch and Naeem Baloch, returning to their homeland from Germany went missing in Karachi. They were reportedly detained by the Federal Investigation Agency, a security agency of Pakistan, on the Karachi airport. Qaboos Baloch was released afterwards, but Naeem Baloch remains missing to this day.

Both Naeem and Qaboos Baloch had applied for political asylum in Germany. They willingly returned to Balochistan but were reportedly detained by the security forces.
