Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) leader Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch in a statement strongly condemned the Turbat Dannuk incident and said that such incidents have become commonplace in Balochistan. This time the incident has come to light due to the resistance and bravery of the locals. We have repeatedly pointed out that behind most of the social evils and looting in Balochistan are the occupying forces and its instruments of war which also have the patronage of the parliamentary parties, he said.

The statement of Dr. Nazar comes after the incident when a woman and her four-year-old child were shot over resistance during a burglary at their house in Turbat city of Balochistan, on Monday night. Firing resulted in killing the woman on the spot and injuring her child.

The other members of the family reacted valiantly and caught the robbers and handed them over to the police.

Dr allah Nazar said in his statement “Under the auspices of Military Intelligence, Death-Squad members raided the house of Jassim son of Ameer in Turbat Dannuk for robbery. A woman was martyred and a child was seriously injured during the resistance. In different parts of Balochistan, such groups are involved in murder, theft, robbery, and other crimes, but due to the support of the army and intelligence agencies against the Baloch freedom fighters, the parliamentary parties are ready to defend them. After such activities, these people often take refuge in military camps, which are their permanent sanctuaries.”

While talking to The Balochistan Post, a resident, Abdul Waheed Dashti said that despite the siege of Turbat city by Frontier Corps (FC), police and other security agencies, the incidents of theft and robbery in the city are question marks.

Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch further said that in the Turbat incident, family members, neighbors and relatives showed courage and bravery and arrested the Pakistani goons. Immediately after the incident, pictures of the attackers and other members of the gang brandishing guns with a Pakistani minister went viral on social media. These elements take refuge in the homes of puppet ministers and military camps after all kinds of criminal activities. This is the Baloch genocide, an attack on Baloch culture, and an attack on our dignity and honor.

While the chairman of a widely known political party in Balochistan, Baloch National Movement, Khalil Baloch strongly condemned the Turbat Dannuk incident and said “Human rights violations were increasing day by day in Balochistan. The ban on international organizations and media from entering Balochistan and the silence of the local media not only obscures these incidents but also intensifies them.”
