Pakistani military and ISI are disrupting Afghan peace process, said BLA leader

According to TBP social media reporter, Bashir Zeb Baloch, has stated on his twitter account saying that, “US is committing a historical mistake by trusting Pakistan. Expecting peace from a state, whose whole foreign policy is based on terrorism, is nothing but self-deception”.

Zeb is currently the commander-in-chief of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a militant organization striving for the independence of Balochistan.

BLA commander’s statement comes in the time while Afghan peace process is going on, where U.S sees Pakistan’s crucial role in it.

US State Department Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said that Trump and Secretary Pompeo had alluded to the importance of Pakistan’s role in helping the US pursue peace in Afghanistan.

According to latest reports, U.S is making a deal with Taliban and keen to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan soon.

Washington for years blamed Pakistan for providing haven to the insurgency, making it impossible to defeat.

Pakistan has supported the Taliban since the mid-1990s, a relationship that has given Islamabad more leverage than any other country over the jihadist movement.
